  3. How do I subscribe to the service?

  4. Download 16490 Registration form. Fill it up and fax or mail back to us.

  5. Is there any registration or monthly subscription fee if I subscribe to this service?

  6. No, there is no registration or monthly subscription fee. We will only charge when you make call.

  7. Will I be bonded with any contract by subscribing to your service?

  8. No. You may terminate this service by written one-month in advance.

  9. Will the subscription to your service affect my others existing services on the phone line or mobile?

  10. No. Activation of our service on your lines is instantaneous and seamless. There is no installation required and will not affect any of your existing services.

  11. How do I use the service?

  12. Just dial 16490 + country code + area codee + phone number from the phone lines or mobile that have been subscribed to our service and you will be able to call most of the overseas countries instantly.

  13. How will I be billed?

  14. We will bill you on monthly basis for the calls that you have made on previous month. All call details, comprise of time, date, duration, number called and number calling from will be listed on the bills. Normally, bills will be sent out in the beginning of every month.

  15. How do I pay the bills?

  16. We provide the following methods for your convenience in payment.
    Credit Card - You may authorize us to charge the outstanding bills amount to your credit card by credit card autopay.
    Cheque – You may settle the bill by sending a cheque to us.

  17. How am I being charged for the calls?

  18. You will only be charged for the calls that were connected successfully to the overseas countries. We will not charge you if the call is engaged or failed to be connected. However, when the call reached into overseas voice mail or announcement service, we may impose charges if the overseas operator is charging the call.

  19. Would I be charged for local calls at the same time when I use this service to call overseas?

  20. You will only be charged for the IDD calls made and billed by us. However, if you are calling from mobile, the prevailing local airtime charges from your service provider will apply through out the whole duration of call.

  21. Will I be charged for IDD calls by my phone line or mobile service provider if I am using your service?

  22. No. Whenever you dial 16490 + …, your calls will be re-routed to us instantly by your phone line or mobile service provider. The calls will subsequently pass through our infrastructure to overseas countries and thus recorded and billed by our system.

  23. How much is the calling rates to overseas countries?

  24. Each of the service plans offers different calling rates to different overseas countries. For enquiries, you may call our customer service at +852 2172 6688.

  25. Is there a credit limit on my account usage?

  26. Generally, we set a $300 credit limit on residential accounts. You may choose to increase your credit limit by paying more security deposit or pay immediately the current outstanding when reaching the credit limit. Credit limit on corporate accounts is set on case-to-case basis.

  27. Can I make IDD calls using this service from my mobile when I am in overseas with roaming service?

  28. No. IDD16490 can only be used in Hong Kong.
